Drawing
I began my artistic journey at the age of 5, initially mastering nothing more complex than a cube. It wasn't until after graduating from middle school that I revisited drawing, quickly rekindling my passion. It only took one month for me from almost zero to draw a decent portrait.
Piano
Entering college brought a period of uncertainty about my musical direction. It was not until the second semester of my fourth year that I decided to undertake a significant challenge by practicing "La Campanella." During this period, I had the fortune of studying under Professor Malinee Peris. Her profound insights into piano technique, experiential understanding, and the philosophy of practice profoundly influenced my approach. Professor Malinee Peris also helped me after my graduation and made it a point to schedule time to see her so I could play what I had practiced.
Homecooked
Amidst the pandemic, I have adopted a new lifestyle of cooking at home, which has been conducive to slowing down and embracing the simple pleasures of life. The satisfaction of preparing and relishing homemade meals, along with the sense of fulfillment that arises from self-sufficiency, have offered comfort and nourishment. Additionally, this period has enabled me to channel my creativity and explore new culinary techniques, flavors, and recipes. Moreover, this practice has proven to be financially beneficial, as it has minimized the expenses associated with dining out.
Photograph
In recent years, the trend of utilizing mobile phones for photography has experienced a significant surge in popularity. This can be attributed to the convenience and ease with which individuals are now able to capture and share moments from their daily lives, in a manner that was not possible before. This practice allows individuals to preserve and document seemingly ordinary but significant moments that would have otherwise been overlooked or forgotten, such as a picturesque sunset, an urban cityscape, or a fleeting yet meaningful event.
Homebar
In recent times, many have discovered hobbies to cope with the constraints of lockdown, and among them, mixology has stood out as more than just a passing interest. For enthusiasts, it's evolved into a lifestyle, a deep-seated passion born from prolonged periods indoors. Beyond the mere crafting of drinks, mixology transforms a space into an arena of artistic expression, enveloped in an ambiance that both captivates and comforts. More than that, it provides a sanctuary, a dedicated gathering spot, where friends can converge, toast to resilience, and celebrate the shared joy of a perfectly blended cocktail.
